Shara Goodridge, our Amateur Photographer for the Month of May, has always had a passion for creating . From her tasty cakes to the beautiful photography which she has recently begun to explore, she demonstrates this love. We got a chance to find out more about Shara.

Shara Akeilia Goodridge
Do you have any nicknames?
No, always hated pet names. But call me Hunny- I like Pooh and Pooh likes Hunny= Pooh likes Shara.
Where are you from?
Cole’s Cave, St. Lucy
What do you do for a living?
I’m a student at UWI Cave Hill campus, studying sociology and Psychology. Will be a teacher someday soon. Mean while I am the Creative Director at Cakeridge, where you can get a variety of cakes.
What got you interested in photography?
Having access to a digital camera and experimenting.
Where do you see your photography going in 5 years?
I just do this for fun, hope I still have the time to enjoy it because I try my hand at many things.
What is your favourite things/areas to photograph?
I like landscape and plants.

Other than photography, what else do you like to do?
Baking!!! I absolutely enjoy baking, I may even go in to food photography.

It’s fun! You are only limited by your imagination.
