Jolly Roger Taste of the Caribbean Dinner Dance Show and Cruise

There is no better way to spend your Thursday evenings than at the Jolly Roger Taste of the Caribbean Dinner Dance Show and Cruise. First, at 6pm, in the Jolly Roger Tavern, you can sit back and relax and enjoy the live floor show of limbo dancing, stilt walkers, theme dancing and others, while nibbling on jerk pork from Jamaica, Bol Jol from St. Vincent, Pelouri Balls from Trinidad and Fish Cakes and Breadfruit Chips from Barbados. Simply Caribbean! Afterwards, at 7pm, you get on board the Jolly Roger for your cruse, where you can enjoy a sumptuous buffet dinner with live steel band and dancing. The cruise will last for about 3 hours. For reservations, contact 826-7245.

Celebrations of Rhythm Dinner & Stage Show and Street Party

Every Thursday night, the Pirates Cove in Bay Street, Bridgetown, hosts this musical production that looks at the roots of Bajan rhythm from the days of colonialism, to present day Kadooment. There’s the option of the village lime, dinner, drinks, viewing of the show and transportation, or you can just watch the show (without dinner and transportation included). This event is Barbados’ #1 Heritage Promotion. It is a cultural experience not to be missed as it displays the island’s heritage and culture through food, art, craft, and music and performing arts.
