Gardens & Parks - Hunte's Gardens
Hunte's Gardens, the beautiful oasis located amidst St. Joseph's rolling hills, are maintained and nurtured by horticulturalist, Anthony Hunte. These gardens feature a prismatic array of plants, flowers and trees, along with a variety of decorative pieces to further embelish this already spectacular experience.
As you walk along the picturesque path, you will find series of vibrant mini-gardens. While these gardens are sure to excite nature lovers and avid gardners, all are welcomed to experience and enjoy this peaceful haven.
The unusual placement - in a sink-hole-like gully, allows for a multidimensional experience - from sunny and open spaces, down to a mysterious hideaway. As you explore the fascinating property, you will see the local birds in their natural habitat. Be sure to have your camera ready.
For a full day of fantastic exploration, you may also want to visit the nearby Welchman Hall Gully and Harrison's Cave.
