
¼ lb onions
½ lb raisins
2 cups brown sugar
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp ground ginger
½ tsp ground clove
1 cup vinegar
1 jar
Cut golden apples into small pieces and place in a pan with vinegar and chopped onion. Stir constantly and cook until tender. Add remaining ingredients and cook until thick. Allow to cool and remove any strings which may surface. Bottle chutney and seal until ready to serve.
