Handwashing with soap is the most effective & inexpensive way to prevent infections, which take the lives of millions of children in developing countries.This year, Global Handwashing Day celebrates the power that everyone has to save lives and create healthier communities through handwashing with soap. The organization behind Global Handwashing Day, the Global Public-Private Partnership for Handwashing (PPPHW) and its partners, encourages everyone to join in the celebration and promote handwashing with soap.The power is in your hands!
