Dumpling are a delicious flour based treat added to soup to give it more body.
1 cup flour
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup water or milk
Pinch of spice
1 teaspoon sugar
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
Mix dry ingredients together. Create a hole in the centre and add liquid. Combine indredients until a soft dough is formed. Using a spoon or hand, drop dough into soup and cook 10 minutes.
