Dining by the Water’s Edge – St. Peter

Fine Dining

The Camelot Restaurant

Located at the Cobblers Cove Hotel, this restaurant  is popular with both locals and tourists as the chef prepares meals with stunning flavour combinations. In addition to this, the best wines are available so you have the perfect wine to complement your meal. Add the cool ocean breeze and the amazing ambiance and you have one of the best fine dining experiences in the island.

What they said:

Food as well as beverages are excellent at this award winning restaurant. The servers along with the food make for enjoyable dining experience. @LEELEE0421

Our evening at Camelot was superb. Each course was packed full of flavour and arranged as though a work of art on the plate…The restaurant itself is situated in a beautiful spot right on the water. The simple decor and white linens evoke thoughts of a paradisical dream, it’s a wonderful place to sit and watch the sunset…If you’re looking for something a little bit special I’d highly recommend a visit to Camelot. @12345Somewheresunny

The Fish Pot

Dining at the Fish Pot, you can be sure to have the experience of a lifetime. The restaurant is part of a converted fort and sits directly on the beach, allowing those who sit in the open air dining area to have a perfect view of the sea. Located not too far from the local fish market, the Fish Pot offers a wide variety of fresh seafood.

What they said:

One of those restaurants that you could just keep going back to time and time again! It is set overlooking the beach and at lunch time the ocean looks lovely. The food was very good and the staff did a great job. @M J

Lovely lunch and wine at this superbly located restaurant. Well [worth] the drive up past Speightstown from the South Coast @robert H

Juma’s Restaurant

Serving Classic French, Bajan and Thai cuisine, Juma’s restaurant offers a unique dining experience in Speighstown. It is open daily from 12pm for lunch and dinner, and is an ideal location to host special functions.

What they said:

Spent the whole day at Juma’s and had a great lunch and dinner. They provide free sunbeds and umbrellas so well worth making a day of it. Beach is lovely also. Can’t fault the food we had great rotis for lunch and our best fish dinner on the island so far. @LukeLondon09

Very nice dinner at Juma’s. We did not have reservations but they were very accommodating. Service was very good and the atmosphere excellent. It is a little distance from the South Coast and from where we were in St.James but if you don’t mind driving, it’s not a bad place to have dinner. @Whitby48

Casual Dining

Bomba’s Beach Bar

With the special catch of the day delivered straight from the fisherman’s boat to the restaurant, this informal beach bar is the perfect hang out spot for a lazy day. Enjoy sipping ice cold beer and cocktails and have a delicious dining experience with great service.

What they said:

This great little gem was recommended to us and did not disappoint. Casual outdoor dining right on the water and fresh delicious seafood. Entertaining service and great fun – highly recommend you try it! @Kate P

Fisherman’s Pub and Grub

With a choice of the bar menu or a Creole buffet with traditional dishes such as cou-cou and flying fish or pepper pot, the Fisherman’s Pub offers a casual dining experience with a lovely view of the Speightstown Boardwalk. Patrons have the choice of indoor dining or outside dining on the terrace, and the sunsets are a delight to watch from this location. It is only open for lunch, with one dinner night available (Wednesdays) where entertainment is also provided.

What they said:

Simple looking place. Excellent food. Great prices. Out back on the deck you’re literally sitting over the Caribbean. What a simple pleasant view. I had the flying fish and their ‘mac and cheese pie’. Both winners. If you want local owned and setting, don’t miss this place. @Jim S

Mullins Beach Bar & Grill

Open from 10am -7pm daily with no reservations required, the menu at Mullins offers simple and elegant dining for any taste. They host regular BBQs and dishes range from traditional Caribbean to International Cuisine. Patrons can lounge on the beach while being waited on by friendly staff.

What they said:

Great bar and good food. Sitting at the beach front bar is great for watching the sun go down. Numerous bottles of Banks beer, good food and friendly staff. What else do you need after a hard day on the beach in the sun? Very relaxed feel to the bar. @LiverpoolGourmet
