Dining by the Water’s Edge – St Michael

Fine Dining

Brown Sugar Restaurant

Perfect for casual, yet elegant dining, the Brown Sugar Restaurant provides both local and creole cuisine with a beautiful ambiance. It provides a buffet style lunch from Sunday to Friday, while dinner is served each night from 6pm. Additionally, there is live entertainment on selected nights.

What they said:

This restaurant is truly bajan. The ambience and atmosphere were great. The restaurant was filled with both locals and visitors. The pudding and souse was excellent as well as the barbequed ribs… Make sure you make the buffet lunch a must. Delicious. @Cecile R

Loved [the] atmosphere and ambience, the service was friendly but the stand out for me was the curried lamb I had. Absolutely delicious. @Milanpatel81

The Lighthouse Terrace

This restaurant is located on the lobby level of the Hilton Barbados Hotel, offering buffet breakfasts, lunch and dinner. It has both air conditioned indoor dining and al fresco dining, both complete with a view of the Oceanside. At dinner, the Lighthouse Terrace offers a different theme buffet each night, providing guests with an international dining experience.

What they said:

Best breakfast view! Huge Buffet. Amazing omelettes made to order 🙂 Had dinner once & it was great as well & you can’t beat the location as its attached to the hotel. @AlliRossX1

My husband and I had a lovely cozy anniversary lunch at this scenic restaurant. We stretched it out so we could take our time and enjoy several wonderful items from sushi to soup to nicely carved meats and scrumptious desserts. The servers were attentive and pleasant. We will be back! @Frivy

The Yacht Club Restaurant

The restaurant, located at the exclusive Port St. Charles Yacht Club, offers a variety of international dishes prepared by a world class chef. It is open for lunch and dinner and also has a bar. It has an excellent view and the experience is complete with friendly and professional service. The only drawback is that use of the club is limited to members, their guests and tenants.

What they said:

This is quite a place. A very private place. To see it at night is thrilling with the lighting, landscaping and the boats. Its quite something enjoying great food in a serene setting with the water lapping against the decking of the restaurant. @Ianexn

Casual Dining

Water’s Edge Bar (at Hilton Barbados)

Open from 10am to 9pm at the Hilton Barbados, this casual bar on the beachfont of the Hiton offers a nice experience. Whether it is sipping cocktails on the lounge chairs on the beach or having lunch, this location is ideal for those winding down after a long day.

What they said:

Just wanted to send a big thank you to Marilyn and the staff at the Water’s Edge Bar. My husband and I decided to have lunch at the Water’s Edge Bar last week. Marilyn was a true delight and the food was great! @MisterBrady11

The Waterfront Café

This offers causal al fresco dining in the heart of Bridgetown. The environment is very casual and comfortable, and provides a high quality dining experience. Live entertainment is provided Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. This informal setting is ideal for a casual lime with friends.

What they said:

We had great lunches here over a couple of weeks and watched the world go by but to really appreciate the Waterfront you need to go in an evening the atmosphere is brilliant the food and service good but the Jazz is absolutely awesome. Definitely recommend. @WestValeOwners
