DINING BY THE WATERS EDGE - ST. JOSEPH
The beautiful parish of St. Joseph is the home to two island treasures:
The Atlantis Restaurant
With an internal capacity of 120 persons and a deck capacity of 75, the Atlantis restaurant, located at the Atlantis hotel, is a wonderful restaurant for special occasions. It is known for its famous Barbadian buffets served on Wednesdays and Sundays weekly. It is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with the exception of Sunday nights.
What they said:
Liked everything about the place; the setting, the food, the service and a very good menu. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Didn't want to leave. @Julie W.
A stunning backdrop of the East (Atlantic) coast and a great variety of food at great value - the Sunday buffet is a must. Nice dining ambiance with a mix of local families and tourists. @Stuart H
The Roundhouse Restaurant
Located at its namesake Inn, the Roundhouse Restaurant can be found in the countryside in Bathsheba, St. Joseph, on the East Coast of Barbados. It offers Caribbean cuisine, with a blend of American and British flavors and caters to all day dining.
What they said:
Amazing view overlooking surfers catching the waves and a delicious lunch at affordable prices. Fish cakes and macaroni pie-perfect! The inn is off the beaten path but worth the drive…@ Louise C
Both times we've been to Barbados we visited more times than was fair to the other restaurants on the island. The food was great (notably the camembert that had been baked in rum), the location is perfect as it looks out onto Bathsheba and the restaurant benefits from the cooling Atlantic breeze. @RobHumphris
