Located on the lower terrace of the Sandy Lane Hotel, the Bajan Blue offers all day dining with a blend of European, Caribbean and Asian cuisine. Each Sunday, the chefs prepare a lunch buffet. Bajan Blue aptly caters to all tastes – from those who prefer something casual like pizza, to those who prefer the more elaborate fine dining meals such as seafood.

First off, you can’t beat the setting. The hotel is fabulous and provided a wonderful backdrop for the lovely lunch we had. The staff was incredible – very attentive, efficient, and so friendly. Having dined at many a restaurant in Barbados, I can say that this restaurant has the best customer service I have experienced on the island. The Beach House Bar and Restaurant

Cin Cin by the Sea
Cin Cin by the sea offers al fresco (open air/outdoor) dining, with an air conditioned lounge bar for casual liming, complete with a beautiful view of the west coast of Barbados. Its specialty cuisine is Mediterranean but with a Caribbean twist. Serving both lunch and dinner, Cin Cin by the sea offers a dining experience not to be missed.

I went with my wife 2 weeks ago…The whole place was stunning – the inside outside lounge/bar/dining areas – all designed to take advantage of the beautiful view over the sea crashing against the rocks. However, the best part is the outdoor dining terrace with a spectacular awning – must be an engineering masterpiece how it’s kept in place. The menu, food preparation and presentation was excellent, and the service and friendliness of staff score 10 out of 10. Top of the class. @Les H

The Cliff Restaurant
This is one of the most celebrity-frequented restaurants in Barbados. Set on a coral clifftop above a tiny cove in St. James, The Cliff has one of the best experiences of dining by the water’s edge on the island. The open air setting lit by Olympian style torches means that there is no such thing as a bad seat at this restaurant.

Coral Reef Club Restaurant
This restaurant, located at the Coral Reef Club, presents a lovely al fresco dining experience. The a la carte menu changes daily and the cuisine is a mixture of classical and Caribbean. Live entertainment is provided every evening during the winter months and five evenings each week during the summer. On Mondays, they host a West Indian/International buffet, and Thursday is Barbeque night.

Six of us went to Coral Reef for their Thursday night BBQ Buffet….absolutely brilliant…..all kinds of fish including lobster, prawns and fresh fish…..fillet steaks, lamb chops and numerous other meats…great salads……and finally great deserts (too many I am afraid !!)…Excellent staff and atmosphere…can’t see us bettering the food and value for some time. @JohnboyOxon
We have dined at the Coral Reef a couple of times before, it never disappoints us. The bar staff are outstanding, food is top class, a buffet this time, great choice too. Daphne’s Restaurant
Also located on the West Coast is Daphne’s restaurant. It is known as one of Barbados’ most acclaimed restaurants, complete with a Zagat rating. Their specialty is Modern Italian cuisine, infused with island seafood. Daphne’s also hosts special weekly theme dinners such as Bajan Dinner beach buffet on Tuesday nights or Fisherman’s night on Fridays.

Il Tempio Restaurant
“The best Italian food in Barbados” were the words used by late opera sensation Luciano Pavortti to described this restaurant. Located on the West Coast, Il Tempio specializes in Italian cuisine and was reviewed in the New York Times as the as “an Italian experience not to be missed”. It is the ideal location for a romantic dinner for two.

Kathy’s Restaurant
Kathy’s Restaurant at the Treasure Beach Hotel is famous for its ability to use local produce to create new dishes, using a Mediterranean style to go with the Bajan flavor. The restaurant offers breakfast lunch and dinner, and every Friday, it relocates poolside for a Barbeque night.

The Lone Star Restaurant
This Restaurant is located directly by the water’s edge of the beautiful Lone Star Boutique Hotel. The cuisine is Italian, including pizza made from their woodfire oven and it also offers a wide variety of salads. Cocktails are also available at this lovely establishment and the well lit area is beautiful at night, especially with the setting sun nearby.

The Tides Restaurant, located on the west coast of the island, perfectly combines beautiful ambiance with cuisine to die for. Surfside Restaurant and Bar
One of the oldest running beach bars in Holetown, this restaurant offers a unique experience. Not only can you watch sports outdoors on the beach, but you can do so while dining and having a swim in the nearby ocean! Ideal, for locals and tourists alike, it is transformed at night into an elegant yet casual beachfront dining experience with some nice Bajan cuisine to complete the experience.

Zaccios
Located directly on the beach, this restaurant offers an informal dining experience for lunch and dinner in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. The dishes offered are of an international variety ranging from vegetarian dishes and seafood, to pizza and pasta. Patrons can also eat on the boardwalk itself, but it is always best to make a reservation for that added option.
