Dah Beach is Mine

Every bajan has a favorite beach. Some, like a few to which I posed the question “What is your favorite beach and why” would first claim they don’t have any, but eventually, they will tell you which one they prefer.  The answers were quite interesting…

Accra Beach

  • Beach chairs and umbrellas are available; rest rooms are acceptable –JB
  • Location – Olivia
  • Cheffette is right there – Kemar
  • Lack of seaweed and I love the Tiki Bar and the atmosphere; the people are really nice – Leah

Almond Beach/Port St. Charles

  • All my childhood memories I have there; fun times Other reasons are it has no on-shore rocks, many people go to the beach making it active and lively, it has a jetty we can jump off of and there are no sharks – Jack

Batt’s Rock

  • Atmosphere, view, positive aura – Randy

Brandon’s Beach

  • Because it’s expansive and I’ve had the best memories as of late at that beach as compared to others – Marlon

  • Water low, beach always has people and its clean and well kept and is good for my photography – Isaiah
  • Good mix between accessibility and it has some quiet spots – Dario
  • Calm and spacious – Malissa
  • Mainly because of the atmosphere and the fact that you have that opportunity to meet and talk to other people especially those older persons who are always willing to share their experiences – Taurean A.

Crystal Cove

  • It’s so clean and beautiful and not much people go there – Correy
