Beaches of the North Coast

The enchanting North Coast is another perfect location for picturesque views. There are majestic cliffs and secluded coves along this coast, certainly making it one of Barbados’ treasures. As a general rule, it is not recommended for persons to go swimming in this area, however, there are some gentler bays that may be ventured into,  Cove Bay and River Bay are two examples. In other areas, rugged coastlines reveal dramatic cliff scenes that plunge hundreds of feet into deep, rough waters and create stunning scenes that are often the subject of paintings and photographs. You would want to make sure you walk with your camera!
