Island Heritage - Barbados National Heroes Gallery
Open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
In 2006 the interactive National Heroes Gallery was opened in the heart of the capital city of Bridgetown, in the West Wing of Parliament Building. The museum traces the lives and contribution’s of ten of the island’s national heroes outlined in a series of sculptures, artifacts, interactive screens and murals created by local artists. It provides visitors with valuable insight into several impactful events that helped shaped todays Barbados. The location is also a part of Historic Bridgetown and Its Garrison - World Heritage Site.
