Barbados’ year-round sunny weather makes it an ideal location for many sporting activities- an excellent example being golf. Whether you are a professional, or just getting started, there are several golf courses that can match your skills. Barbados has been described as a premier golfing destination, and has held prestigious tournaments over the years, most notably the World Golf Championship World Cup in 2006; this event was held at the Sandy Lane Country Club. The Royal Westmoreland Golf Course is also a regular host to the PGA European Tour Seniors tournament. The combination of scenic views, warm weather, and challenging holes certainly makes Barbados a pleasurable golfing destination.

Apes Hill Club- A Par 72, 18-hole golf course, also recently voted one of the best in the world. Access to the course is restricted to Apes Hill Club Golf Members, their invited guests and villa renters.
